Pictures from the Surface of the Earth - Wim Wenders

Whenever Wim Wenders worked on a movie, he set out to scouting trips with a medium format camera looking for inspiration as he searched out the perfect scenes of loneliness and bleak nostalgia he wanted and always got. The sensation I got from his gritty photographs was immensely inspirational for the aesthetic construction of the short "Cartas de amor escritas por hombres."
